DEEP COVE & CANOE

On Tuesday, Shaun and I went up to Deep Cove in North Vancouver where we rented a canoe for the day. We had no destination in mind, but spent the whole afternoon paddling upwards towards Alder Creek by the Twin Islands. It was really quiet out on the water except for the occassional speedboat passing by. At some point, we spotted a seal next to our boat and it sort of followed us for an hour, but we lost sight of it later in the day. We headed back to Deep Cove around 6pm after a long day of paddling and sunshine, and immediately went on a hunt for burgers, which we found back in town. It was a long, but satisfying day.

My upper body felt stiffer than wood the next morning.
